Los Angeles based Director of Photography, Daniel Waynick, earned a BFA in Cinematography at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. After almost a decade working in film & television in NYC, Daniel relocated to Los Angeles in 2018 to shoot and direct music videos & commercials. In late 2019, WYNCK Media was launched, offering full-scale productions a one-stop creative collective for all production needs.
Daniel has produced and executed successful and award winning campaigns for BMW, The h.wood Group, Hollister, CB2, Mattel, Caruso and NBCUniversal. Most recently, LiveNation and Femme It Forward collaborated with Daniel on the conception of their first all-female visual album titled ‘Big Femme Energy.’ This collaborative album boasts names such as Lauren Jauregui, Tayla Parx, Rapsody, SAYGRACE, Tierra Whack, Muni Long and more.
Daniel has worked with Katy Perry and her label, Unsub Records, to launch their imprint artist, Cyn. While there, Daniel was tasked with producing, directing, shooting & editing music videos & behind the scenes social content at a world-speed pace. During this time, Daniel’s inspiration became, once again, heavily music inspired.
Daniel’s evolution into music videos seemed natural given a history of classical violin training & growing up in orchestra in the age of YouTube. The endless hours of closed-eye practice made way for visualizing sound and a need for music to be told with a discernible accompaniment.
